Rajasthan.
Rajasthan is simply mesmerizing, with the lofty hills of the Aravali's - one of the oldest mountain ranges of the world and the golden sand dunes of the Great Indian Desert - the only desert of the sub-continent. The region, particularly in the north west, is exceptionally dry and desolate, the predominant colour is golden brown. To compensate for this the women of Rajasthan stand out in the most glorious colour, the men of the region however tend to be more conservative and their only concession to colour seems to be their headgear. The following are a few images taken in this dry, hot, dusty state.
